Intensive off-road riding inevitably leaves its mark on the Boxers header pipes. Stones kicked up directly by the front wheel or sometimes from the rider ahead can easily cause dents and marks. Worse still are collisions with solid rock or large stones in narrow off-road passages. These battle scars and signs of wear might honour a seasoned enduro returning from its natural habitat but on an R 12?

To protect the exposed header pipes and the crossover pipe that connects both header pipes beneath the engine, we recommend our DAKAR header pipe guard.
